Hello,
On the PPC boards I use, one needs to add a single line to
/etc/X11/xorg.conf to make 3D functional:
Option "BusType" "PCI"
As this bug ( https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=449938 ) does
not look like a ship stopper, my question: is it possible to fix it up
somehow by a driver update? Right now I use update.post2 to fix up
booting, but it is ran at then end of stage1, while Xorg is configured
at the end of stage2. Or is is possible to add it to a sax2 template
from update.post2, so it is used automagically?
I hope, this can be fixed for 11.2, but for now a solution not requiring
user interaction and editing configuration files by hand would be nice.
Bye,
CzP
