Hi all,
like written in the subject my system wont shut down correctly because it
is waiting for a server responce from a samba server while umounting the
samba share. But it couldnt get these response, because the wlan-card is
switched off before the umounting is done. Look at the /var/log/messages,
i think something goes wrong with the order of commands in the shutdown-
sequence:
---8<------------------8<------------------8<-----------------8<--------
Nov 25 23:57:06 linux-rejo ifdown: wlan0 device: Intel
Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG [Golan] Network Connection (rev 02)
Nov 25 23:57:06 linux-rejo dhcpcd[5111]: wlan0: received SIGTERM,
stopping
Nov 25 23:57:06 linux-rejo dhcpcd[5111]: wlan0: removing default route
via 192.168.1.254 metric 0
Nov 25 23:57:06 linux-rejo dhcpcd[5111]: wlan0: removing IP address
192.168.1.100/24
Nov 25 23:57:06 linux-rejo sshd[4752]: Received signal 15; terminating.
Nov 25 23:57:06 linux-rejo dhcpcd[5111]: wlan0: exiting
Nov 25 23:57:07 linux-rejo kernel: vendor=8086 device=27d4
Nov 25 23:57:07 linux-rejo kernel: iwl3945 0000:05:00.0: PCI INT A
disabled
Nov 25 23:57:40 linux-rejo kernel: CIFS VFS: server not responding
Nov 25 23:57:40 linux-rejo kernel: CIFS VFS: No response for cmd 50 mid
9
---8<------------------8<------------------8<-----------------8<--------
network is configured to work with the old ifconfig-system, because
KNetworkmanager was broken on my system since beta 5.
