Hi Steffen,
Many thakns for getting back to me.
I tried connecting both my serial braille display as well as my USB braille
display but with no luck.
Will I need to do something after pressing F9 and selecting installation?
Best regards and thanks,
Christian

I have just downloaded the DVD of Opensuse 11.1 Beta5 and booted it.
the DVD has booted I pressed F9 to launch the talking menu. I thenits
selected installation and pressed enter. The DVD seem to boot something
but I get no speech.
Is this something that is going to be fixed or is it already fixed and
my sound card thats not working proprely.
there is currently no sound output enabled during regular installation.
Only
braille-displays are supported at the moment.
However, the Live-DVD does support sound (at least the GNOME variant)
AFAIK.
