In the morning it was the normal green brightness and didn't appear to change much through the day. Now at nearly 7pm the display is very bright. Last evening it was dark, almost blue.
Hrm, the timings in the configuration might not be perfect. Although it's 11PM here, and the background is dark. So looks fine at the moment (and it looks fine during the day too, bright green).
What is the expected behavior? On a related topic, can the background be anything? Maybe video or a terminal, or web page?
No. It's only images. See /usr/share/backgrounds/glass/glass.xml
Ok, I had a look and I can confirm that the timings appear to be working as they should; that is to say that the images specified in the file are displaying when they are supposed to. However, my confusion arises from the fact that the sunset image is really bright compared to the middle of the day. Shouldn't glass-day and glass-sunset be swapped? Also, (I realize this is being really nit-picky) but up north here in Canada the sunset varies anywhere from 4:30pm to 9:40pm depending on the time of year ;) -- John Lange www.johnlange.ca -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
