You don't need to keep the panel settings opened. Just unlock widgets and dran&drop the icon. The difficult part is to find the right pixel to drop the icon in!
even more difficult is to find draggable icon, which may be placed on panel. for ex: "show desktop" widget can be add to desktop, and it will be shown with icon, that can be draged bu the edge. but there is no way to put this icon on panel (for this user need to call "add widget" dialog on panel, and add "show desktop" directly to the panel) thing that there are different type of icons is weird, and unintuitive. kde developers and Aaron especially already was told about such strange usability ways, but as people says, "this is his vision of usability". -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
