Hello List, I'm not sure I should report it here, but here comes my question/request I'm running the (latest?) Opensuse 11.1 beta 4. I noticed that the init file /etc/init.d/boot.dmraid, belonging to dmraid-1.0.0.rc15-2.8, bears on line 64 the following: $DMRAID -ay -p $DMRAID_START_OPTIONS Now, my home partition is on a Promise Raid 1 array (mapped to /dev/mapper/pdc_gjaecddaep1), and the above line fails to make partitions (p1) available in the mapper, just an useless (for me) /dev/mapper/pdc_gjaecddae . Everything works fine again if I manually correct line 64 into $DMRAID -ay $DMRAID_START_OPTIONS I wouldn't like to get the shit scared out of me everytime the dmraid packages undergoes minor updates (replacing my corrected line back again), since the system does not boot and claims there is no home partition around anymore: is there a major reason for the -p? If so, where would it be appropriate to eventually mount raid partitions as well?
