No....I don't. I've read all the log files trying to find something
somewhere to give me a clue....nada.

what levels your various channels are set.

Re stuttering. Same thing happened to me yesterday. I rebooted the'First thing I tried....nada. It's either the Intel driver isn't as
system and the problem seems to have vanished. Try it.

You stated that both audio and video were stuttering. Somehow I wouldn't
connect audio stuttering with "x" - video, yes.

Rather an interesting error I seem to be getting when I boot the set of
HDs with 11.1 Beta on them: the auto check of new upgrades fails and
when I look at the reason why it failed I see something along the lines
of "DBus error - daemon not running" or words to this affect.

My gut feeling is that some application is excessively using the dbus
causing the stuttering of both audio and video. Perhaps you know of a
way of checking this out.
