Select only packman and do a search in Software Management you will
not find w32codec nor libdvdcss.



there is no w32codec in videolan, and w32codecs are mostly useless
because all uses ffmpeg.

libdvdcss is the only one, you coudn't get on packman.



OK, I accept w32codecs not being on videolan -- I was working from
memory, and definitely knew that libdvdcss was not on packman.

is there an equivalent of libdvdcss that could avoid adding videolan
repo for this package only ?

I've never heard of nor found an equivalent. If you want to avoid
videolan packages taking precedence over packman then set the videolan
repository priority higher than any others in yast repository manager.
