Looking good after being installed.
As expected, installation and getting it work is not for a 'newbie'
especially if you want to use video. Not does the installation come with
preselected repositories to be able to install some essential
applications like mc (Midnight Commander) and the kernel-source, make
and gcc.
You need to Enable repos like:
Updates for 11.1
opensuse build Service - KDE Community
- OpenOffice.org
- Games
- Mozilla
Opensue-11.1-OSS
Main Update Repositories
Main Repository (OSS)
and then manually add:
packman (http:ftp.skynet.be/pub/packman/suse/suse/11.1
videolan (http://download.videolan.org.pub/videolan/vlc/SuSE/11.1)
Enjoy.
Ciao.
