I have no "pam_fp line" and I see no update at all.
Symptoms:
- No text consoles.
- In gnome, I can "su -" to root, but Yast only works in ncurses mode.
I tried "yast2", "yast", "yast --qt", and in all cases I get the
ncurses mode yast. - Going the menu route, yast does not start and I see
no error. - If I log in as root, in Gnome, I get the graphical Yast.
Making the change suggested in the bug report worked for me on the 2nd
issue. I'll create a bug report, if there's not one already, for the
1st issue.
Well, it doesn't for me.
As I said, I have no "pam_fp" line in /etc/pam.d/common-auth, so I can not
remove it as the bug report suggests.
Also I see no updates, YOU says there are none:
