I used 'automatic configuration', not exactly knowing 'what' would be automaticly configuered.., when doing a fresh install beta2.... I ended up with oddball@linux-h7s7 in terminals (konsole) and Yast. I changed the hostname and netbiosname, but the above still stays the same...

How's about simple old "vi /etc/HOSTNAME" if all else fails. You may have to logout and login again. "hostname -F /etc/HOSTNAME" if that file is correct. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ...
