Workaround for VirtualBox installations, if you have Beta1:
Put 
  http://download.opensuse.org/factory/repo/oss 
as you primary source, and run
  zypper dup

The update worked fine, and the system is now considered 11.1 Beta2. 
I'm not sure is it possible to go from openSUSE 11.0 to 11.1 Beta2 with the 
same method and how long it will be possible to do that as Factory can't be 
kept frozen for very long.
