Well, I didn't try the -i386.delta.iso but obly the x86_64.delta.iso, checkums 
are okay, but 
applydeltaiso openSUSE-11.1-Beta1-DVD-x86_64.iso 
openSUSE-11.1-Alpha2_Beta2-DVD-x86_64.delta.iso 
openSUSE-11.1-Beta2-DVD-x86_64.iso
reading 673074566 bytes from old iso...fread: Success

Anf that was it . So I downloaded the full iso.
