How? Whether rpm-md or yast2, I only get the following:
# smart update
/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/smart/const.py:39: DeprecationWarning:
object.__new__() takes no parameters
instance = klass._registry[name] = object.__new__(klass, name)
/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/smart/util/strtools.py:28:

Where do we download/install from now?
It will be moved to
http://download.opensuse.org/factory/
I found it is already there, so I opened YaST2, and changed my main
repository to:
http://download.opensuse.org/factory/repo/oss
which was the first I tried that YaST2 seemed to consider valid. Then I tried
YaST2 software management, and it couldn't find any of the packages I entered
in search, such as python, smart and zypper. So I manually downloaded zypper
and its deps, and installed with rpm -Uvh:
libqdialogsolver1
libzypp
satsolver-tools
yast-ncurses
yast2-pkg-bindings
yast2-qt-pkg
zypper
Zypper claimed ref to work, but didn't find anything except openSUSE to dup,
only openSUSE-release & kernel-pae (!?!) to remove, 2 to change vendor and 2
to downgrade. YaST2 software management now errors out immediately. I tried
changing Smart's main URL, but it can't find repomd.xml, and neither can I.
How does one update Factory now?
Yesterday night I can't upgrade with smart and repository type yast2 but
now I can do it.
How? Whether rpm-md or yast2, I only get the following:
