You are not forced to download and use the CD, it is just another option.
The additional CD won't be downloaded by a lot of people anyway. It is
better not to have it: you save the time of making it and you save space
on the mirrors.
That way you increase the problems and inconvenience for the people that need it, which thus will have more reasons to try another distro.
