Hi, I have the same problem but I might have caused it myself since I upgraded and had some repos added. But symptoms are the same as yours. My /var/log/Xorg.0.log complains about: ABI class: X.Org XInput driver, version 2.1 (EE) module ABI minor version (1) is newer than the server's version (0) (II) UnloadModule: "mouse" about the same for keyboard...
