That's interesting.

I've heard various grumbling about "bloat" in KDE (and GNOME) but always blew 
off such as rantings of those who would rather we all go back to the '80s and 
be using the CLI for our everyday computing.

I can't see one thing in KDE 3.5 that I'd not want in a 4.0 release.
