PS, I am aware that occasionally I use CAPS in my posts. I do that for emphasis, not for yelling. I have seen perfectly valid posts poo-poo'd primarily by proponents of the opposite opinion (and often without, or incapbable of a, better response) because there were caps used by the poster. Caps are a valid punctuation. If the entire post is all caps then that might be construed as shouting, but captilizing words or phrases should be construed as emphasis and should not subject the poster to ridicule. IMO If you want to emphasize something, use underscores eg _emphasize_ . The use of caps will always be construed as shouting while other methods exist to do this.
