James is the original creator of the package, but since I also need
it, I can co-maintain it.

James is listed in our wiki:

In this case, I think I first must ask him if he wants to maintain it
(he knows the package better).

If not, I will take the job. If he wants, then I'm his backup. (in
case if he leaves)

It's actually nice concept of having "backup-maintainer".
