This is a possibility _only after_ we will have contrib repo
established and proven to work.
Just as a note: Fedora has merged Core and Extras to one single repository lately, see http://lwn.net/Articles/217038/ for example. So using that metaphor probably isn't the best way of talking about things. ;-)
