Could you be a little less harsh please?

If you consider the issue more carefully, you'll see that there are lots
of users with less-than-optimal internet connectivity. There are people
that have to pay for bandwidth. It may not be apparent to you, but even
downloading a >100 MB openoffice package can be a weeks-long adventure
in places/countries different than yours.

And think of those users that we *could* have if we could improve the
usability of our products in those conditions.
