Oh, certainly - but that sounds like it IS supported upstream ... 
Anyway, that discussion is really long over.

Well, for starters the option needs to be open and people need to know
it's there.  For myself, I probably don't have the necessary knowledge
right now to start actively supporting something or other in YaST, but
that's something that can be sorted out.
