Have you asked him what his full-time involvement for JFS really is?
Hint, it's really in maintenance mode only...

If you really want to use JFS, you can, but it's not something that we
can support due to no one willing/able to do it.  If you wish to step up
and do such a thing, we will be glad to reconsider such markings.
