[opensuse-factory] PXE Boot 11.0 GM impossible?

Has anybody tried to PXE boot using the kernel and initrd from 11.0 (OSS
or box is the same)?
My R50p (32bit) cannot boot. It loads the kernel-image and then freezes
before fetching initrd.
My Opterons (64bit) load the kernel image and then show funny garbled
colored characters on the screen. Also frozen.
This still works with 10.3 and worked with 11.0 Beta 3.
We had that problem already in 10.0 (bug # 120877) and I think it had to
do with some ACPI table at the end of the image.
Any ideas?
