probably you are using an old rpm/applydeltarpm/applydeltaiso packages 
and libraries.

thats the problem.
the newer compression algo/payload type came during the evolution of 
opensuse 11.0.

you can upgrade your lzma-related packages. there are some pointers to 
newer rpms and such.

too lazy & too little time to get the proper urls. searchengine yourself.
