1.) Where would you like to put "Add-On products"?

3.) How would you like to deal with the fact that not all systems are displayed for upgrade, some partitions are not visible unless u user selects to "Show all partitions" (those partitions/systems that are somehow invalid for the upgrade mechanism).
If a system that does not support upgrade/repair, the respective options should be greyed out. Only those already installed Linux systems that are precisely recognised during probing should appear in the combo box. For the remaining problems it might be sensible to offer an option that says "use expert partitioner later on".
Additionally, probing disks and validating systems takes too much time for every user to disturb with the delay.
OK, that is a disadvantage that I might have underestimated.
And I'm afraid the dialog is too complex to be understandable for the first sight.
I do not think that it is more complex than for example the time zone selection screen.
It's not wrong trying to design new installation dialogs but you might stop to think what exactly you want to solve?
I thought that this dialog would cover the most frequent types of installation and would help the partitioner to make more sensible proposals. And especially beginners will see at an early stage that this openSUSE thing will be able to coexist with their precious Windows partitions and will feel relieved :-)
Isn't more helpful to design new bullet-proof partitioner wizard dialogs depending on the selected installation mode and the current disk state?
This would be another approach that I would appreciate if the above mentioned installation modes (add, modify existing (replace, upgrade, repair)) are detected safely or may be selected without clicking through a bunch of dialog boxes.
