Hi Stepan,

I have been seeing this choice as you describe above with previous versions
of SUSE up until 11.0.   The choice is NO LONGER there.  However, I do see
it after the installation is complete under Software YaST.  I never see 
it on
the boot DVD anylonger.    From my vantage point we are still communicating
the initial point I was trying to make.   Please put 11.0 in your 
machine and
boot and look for the "Media Check" entry.   For me it is gone.
