If it's relevant, I'm particularly interested in which version of the nVidia driver will be provided (initially).
I guess that's up to the nvidia people :-? After all, suse/novell/opensuse doesn't provide it.
But the openSUSE / Novell people know which version they're including in the release. That's what I want to know.
No, they don't include it, and they never have. They just point you to the nvidia home site for you to get it, or somebody creates the ymp whatever links to automate the process. But they are never included in the distro, that would be illegal, AFAIK.
However, somebody might now. I haven't installed the propietary nvidia driver, so I can't tell you.
Yes - the nVidia driver will be downloaded from the nVidia site. http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx http://en.opensuse.org/NVIDIA -- kai www.filesite.org || www.4thedadz.com || www.perfectreign.com remember - a turn signal is a statement, not a request --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
