After the last X server upgrade the X server start only with xdm script and not with startx.
I add "set -x " to the script for debugging purpose and this is the ouput.
+ xinit /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc -- /usr/bin/Xorg :0 /etc/X11/xinit/xserverrc -auth /home/tmow/.serverauth.3211 -nolisten tcp
Unrecognized option: /etc/X11/xinit/xserverrc

This was a bug in Factory. Should be fixed once the new xorg-x11 package has been checked in and built in Factory. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Sun May 25 09:44:11 CEST 2008 - sndirsch@suse.de [...] - back to xinit 1.0.8, since 1.0.9 broke startx Best regards, Stefan Public Key available ------------------------------------------------------ Stefan Dirsch (Res. & Dev.)
