Unless I set eclipse to run with IBM's JDK then it crashes withinEclipse has not been working for a year, you may have a look at the
minutes. I get either the gnome crash dialog or otherwise I find a jdk
dump...
I believe someone mentioned this may have something to do with xulrunner
but out of the box, eclipse doesn't work.

As Firefox now requires xulrunner, it really does not work anymore. This
is easily fixed by updating to an upstream version later than mid March
2008.
