I've searched for this, and found nothing open, but plenty old bugs fixed
or wontfixed. From reading
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=116322 it seems maybe there
might be some optional installation parameter to prevent what seems to be
some sort of screen "saving" mechanism that cuts in after 20 or so minutes
with no keyboard or mouse activity. Anyone know? It seems really odd and
annoying that installation must be attended by periodic keyboard or mouse
activity just to make sure something is still happening.
Why? You can ignore the blank screen. After new kernel start, the screen will
show up again anyway.
The screen won't show up, if the installation has an error. Or am I wrong
here?
