Please keep in mind that SUSE already announced: security updates for
openSUSE 10.1 (but not SLE10 product family) will no longer made.

For a detailed list of changes in CUPS, install a beta of openSUSE 11.0,
and have a look at the files:
file:/usr/share/doc/packages/cups/CHANGES-1.1.txt
file:/usr/share/doc/packages/cups/CHANGES-1.2.txt
file:/usr/share/doc/packages/cups/CHANGES.txt

For a rough overview of CUPS, you might want to have a look at:
