Hi,

Recently someone had a problem with OOo opening a certain type of file,
and it came out that he had forgotten to install a part of OOo. He
explained:

] Thanks, did not see it at first glance ;(. It was somehow obscured by
] the whole row of Catalan OO.

Indeed, the plethora of language files for OOo obscure the rest of the
applications. See:

[ ] OpenOffice_org
[ ] OpenOffice_org-Quickstarter
[ ] OpenOffice_org-af
[ ] OpenOffice_org-ar
[ ] OpenOffice_org-base
[ ] OpenOffice_org-be
[ ] OpenOffice_org-be-BY
[ ] OpenOffice_org-bg
[ ] OpenOffice_org-br
[ ] OpenOffice_org-ca
[ ] OpenOffice_org-calc
[ ] OpenOffice_org-cs

etc.

Couldn't the language files be renamed, like for instance:

[ ] OpenOffice_org-language-af
[ ] OpenOffice_org-language-ar
[ ] OpenOffice_org-language-be

etc? or -translt or whatever?

They would be far easier to spot if they are grouped together, and somehow
separated from the "main" packages.

I agree. It is too late to do it for openSUSE-11.0. I'll do it for 11.1.

Also I think about to split helpcontent from the other localized stuff because
it is huge and optional.

Best Regards,
Petr Mladek
