The yast2 module you talk about does not appear to be part of opensuse 11.0:
mandy:~ # zypper search heartbeat
Reading installed packages...
S | Name | Summary | Type
--+----------------------+-----------------------------------------------
------------------+--------
i | heartbeat | The Heartbeat Subsystem for High-Availability Linux | package
i | heartbeat-core | Common heartbeat components | package
| heartbeat-core-devel | Developmental files for common heartbeat components | package
| heartbeat-devel | The Heartbeat Subsystem for High-Availability Linux | package
i | heartbeat-ldirectord | A Monitoring Daemon for Maintaining High Availability Resources | package
i | heartbeat-resources | OCF Compliant Cluster Resource Scripts | package
mandy:~ # zypper install yast2-heartbeat
Reading installed packages...
'yast2-heartbeat' not found.
Nothing to do.
Where do I get yast2-heartbeat?
Also, it would still be useful if the pacemaker package would be available for x86_64, since
the utilities it includes are discussed in the heartbeat documentation.
Thanks,
Toni

Hi!
Dne Sunday 04 of May 2008 21:28:39 Toni Harbaugh-Blackford napsal(a):
The Testing:Features_11.0 page lists "YaST Heartbeat Command line
support"
as one of the features to test. However, I don't see any of the
configuration
utilities from the linux-ha project page after I install heartbeat.
All you need to install is the yast2-heartbeat package. Many of the YaST
modules already do have command line support. To figure out more about any
individual module, just type
yast2 <module_name> help
and you will see which options are available.
yast2 heartbeat help
YaST Configuration Module heartbeat
------------------------------------
Configuration of high availability (HA) cluster using Heartbeat service.
Basic Syntax:
yast2 heartbeat interactive
yast2 heartbeat <command> [verbose] [options]
yast2 heartbeat help
yast2 heartbeat longhelp
yast2 heartbeat xmlhelp
yast2 heartbeat <command> help
Commands:
authentication Configure authentication of the nodes.
medium Set the communication between the nodes of the cluster.
node Configure list of the servers for the cluster
start Configure automatic start of the service at boot.
Run 'yast2 heartbeat <command> help' for a list of available options.
Jiri
I notice that the pacemaker package appears to contain the commandline
utilities that are needed, but pacemaker is not available for x86_64,
only
for ppc and i586. The build repositories don't seem to indicate any
problem building pacemaker for x86_64, so I am curious as to why it
is not included. Anyone have any info about this?
Thanks,
Toni
