Are modules processor and thermal loaded?

Hi,
Before entering a bug, I thougt it might be good to drop this here.
Since install of OS11.0B2 on my Acer laptop 1710 (Pentium 4 at 2.8 GHz, 1,5
GB memory), the reported processor temp is way too high. Simply opening one
session and running only gkrellm, proc temp gets up til 73 degr. Celsius;
the fan is running fast accordingly.
Even without a session, only the graphical login displayed, one can hear
the fan speeding up, until after one or two minutes it gets at it top
speed.
gkrellm reports virtually no processor activity, so
- is the temperature reported incorrect? or
- what is heating the processor up, if it has almost nothing to do?
Before 11B2 it ran 10.3 without these findings.
I'm eager to hear your comments!
