Sure, it is written in the BR. The md5sum is correct, but the medium

though (but installation hangs after loading some drivers there, but
anyway I did not want to install under vmware).
I'm pretty sure the medium has no problem.

Hi,
I decided last evening to update my 10.3 system to 11.0 beta1.
First of all, I have no problem running unstable versions of
software, I use the KDE svn regularly and used (open)SUSE's
previous releases starting from late alpha/beta state. Still, this
11.0 beta1 was a bad experience. Here are the problems I saw (with
bug numbers);
1) first of all, the installer failed to find a repository on the
DVD. I found that if I give dvd:///devices=/dev/hdc it will work.
Funny, that /dev/sr0 also works from the console, but not from
yast. Bug 383896.
Did you do a medium check?
Sure, it is written in the BR. The md5sum is correct, but the medium
check fails from the boot menu. The check works in a vmware session
though (but installation hangs after loading some drivers there, but
anyway I did not want to install under vmware).
I'm pretty sure the medium has no problem.
