linux-kernel-headers package is used to build userland applications, the 2.6.24 is not nice but should not be a problem.
kernel-syms should be on the online repositories, please get it from there,
got it and installed it. then I rebuild madwifisrc.rpm from the 11,0 repo, blacklisted the kernel ath5k modul, restart system. After installing the madwifi.rpm and madwifi-kmp-default.rpm my system doesn't start. It stops after detection of fd0 that I doesn't have! With ctrl+c it goes on to firewall initialisation(1of 2) and stops again With ctrl+alt+del system is shutting down until it tries to shutdown wlan0. At this point I can only push restart button.
