Indeed, the initial thumbnails would have to be so small as to be
almost indistinguishable at their thumbnail size to fit at 800x600.
Also I don't think that making the decision all about how the desktop
looks in a screenshot makes sense. KDE[3] can be configured to look
almost identical to any screenshot of GNOME. If the desktop argument
is simply about default looks we could just provide multiple themes of
KDE ¬_¬
