Perhaps that person should tick the middle box then.

Which is what we have today, isn't it?  Personally, I'm perfectly happy
with both YaST and the installation process as it is, but I think(!)
we're discussing how to create a more positive experience for a
new/inexperienced user  - without making things overly cumbersome for
the experienced ditto.
