Thanks for the quick response. i tried using YaSt to update all the YaSt RPMS 
but got the same error on most of them. I'll try the zypper in rpm from the 
command line as root later today. Hope thats right, I'm just learning zypper. 
Always used YaST in the past. I like what I've seen of zypper, just need to 
learn all the features.
