Hi,
here it is what I'd like to have on the disk without needing an

I'd keep them to support digital video camcorders out of the box.
about it will install. And as it is an internet tool, shouldn't be an

aumix
audacityMight make sense as there is no alternative.
bogofilterIt's faster than spamassasin, that I don't see here, so probably it is
on the DVD. Anyway, one is enough on the DVD.
htdigUsed by the KDevelop documentation system and I think by KDE as well.
isapnpIf you have an old PC with an ISA network card... :)
libavc1394
libcap-progs
libcdio-utils
libdc1394
libdvdnav
libraw1394
I'd keep them to support digital video camcorders out of the box.
libpqxxI always had to download and install it, so would be nice on the DVD.
postgresqlAs with the above, I use postgresql on many systems.
postgresql-contrib
postgresql-server
privoxyVery useful, but if it isn't configured by default, only those who know
about it will install. And as it is an internet tool, shouldn't be an
issue to download from the net.
timidityNeeded for MIDI on many hardware.
xine-uiI still use it many times instead of the KDE frontends...
