I'm just trying a new network install from factory (alpha 2plus?). The
diff I see with 11 alpha 2 from the dvd is, that when it comes to the
stage to enter a system user, the dvd install had the option to use
SMB authentication method. The factory install offers only local
/etc/passwd.
I think this is a "downgrade". Any ideas why the SMB was removed?
Cheers

a pile of scrap.
