BUT, iirc, your problem was not an "error" but a delay incurred by a
check ???

The main difficulty with PC's is the lack of basic error analysis and
monitoring - smart being the only exception I think, understandable at
the price and it's often a drawn out affair finding out if hardware or
software caused the problem. They usually go bump without warning.

As is with all man crafted items :^)
