Hi,
That's not what the install system does as default. And it's a lot more
intrusive than a 32 bit browser. Anyway, the topic is probably not
considered interesting by the team (1 answer, no decisions), so I guess
we'll have to live with a broken plugin on a half working system
(again).

Sure... there is always an alternative... like installing the wholesystem in 32bit.

I just tried again this morning to access google finance; the flashapplet there works fine and I get the graphics. I use MozillaFirefox and
nspluginwrapper from Mozilla repsotiroy in OBS
