Anyone has some success using zypper 0.10 to update the rest of the system?

I have updated manually libzypp, zypper and yast2-core, yast2-qt, and other 
yast2 stuff related to updating.  The idea was to obtain a working update 
stack.

But the sw_single module doesn't do anything else besides loading the 
repositories and exiting nicely afterwards.

"zypper update" says there's nothing to do.  I did a clean & refresh 
beforehand.
