Hi,
I was trying to install opensuse-11.0-Alpha2 on Power6 box.
I got failures when trying to select n/w port ..
*** No network device found.
Load a network module first.
Following are the modules which are already loaded
cdrom
ATAPI CD-ROM Driver
scsi_mod
SCSI CD-ROM driver
SCSI Disk Driver
SCSI Tape Driver
NFS Client
IBM Power Linux RAID adapter
USB Mass Storage Device Driver
POWER6 ehea
Symbios 53c8xx
As netboot was not working..I have booted p6 box with "inst64" up via
local yaboot loader(pre-installed OS). After booting up I selected NFS ,
then n/w port to be used.Other than above modules i selected ibmveth,
iseries virtual ethernet drivers also. I noticed in pre-installed OS in
p6 box(HV4) that , it used "ehea" as a driver.
Note: I have booted "inst64" with install=slp option.
--Regards
Omar
