| For your case: if sax2 is broken, then there is always the workaround
to fix xorg.conf in an appropriate way.
| File a bug report against sax2, fix xorg.conf (probably add the broken
and fixed one, together with a lot of hwinfo stuff to the report) and
happily work ever after.
Have this PC just one week, and not yet any xorg.conf files saved.
So i do not know how it should look like. (as i said, it worked on
alpha1, during all the updates..)

| Or just find a Mirror that is synching less often. This might prove
difficult, as there already are not to many mirrors that carry factory
at all.
