Hi

"M9." <monkey9@xxxxxx> 02/07/08 12:55 PM >>>
I know what is stated.
That does not mean improvements could not be made?
And i do not think it would be a bad idea, to have one place, where
factory is synced a few days later.
For the alpha testers sake?
This is the exact reason why there are too few alpha testers.
If the system breaks, there is no way to recover, than start all over...
In my opinion, this would not be nessesary...

There are to many alpha testers because, like for every alpha product, you will
need more than just some click-and-try experiance on a system.

For your case: if sax2 is broken, then there is always the workaround to fix
xorg.conf in an appropriate way.
File a bug report against sax2, fix xorg.conf (probably add the broken and
fixed one, together with a lot of hwinfo stuff to the report) and happily work
ever after.

Or just find a Mirror that is synching less often. This might prove difficult,
as there already are not to many mirrors that carry factory at all.
