It might sound stupid and...
Maybe i am mistaken, or dreamed it, but was there not an url for to
update broken factory pkgs?
the standard repository is constantly refreshed with newer packages,
there is no "online update" with patches.
you just need to add the factory repo and
$ zypper dup
from time to time.
