Ok, so I tested the latest livecd with my Dell 700m laptop. The systemThis looks very funny :)
booted ok, however it spent ages doing the X11 configuration stuff.
When GNOME finally started up, the screen had a resolution of 1280x800
(screen default) but GNOME only used 1024x768.
I think this is a problem with the intel driver.
We had this Bug for KDE4 at:Just tried the Firefox 2.0 beta 2 and it has the same problem. The
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=335530 and
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=153581
For KDE3 it was here:
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=286096
and for Windowmaker it is still open at:
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=287297
Btw. the current flash plugin "9,0,115,0" has the same problem with the
intel driver.
